Downloading Mobile App on Drivers’ Device
The DispatchTrack Mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices. Search DispatchTrack in iOS App Store or Google Play and download the app.
Mobile App Activation and Login
Once the DispatchTrack Mobile Application is installed on your device, the first step is to activate the app. Activation code is ferguson.
When you open the DispatchTrack Mobile app for the very first time, the activation screen will appear. Enter your activation code in the field below and press the “ACTIVATE” button.
2. If the activation is successful, you will see the message “Successful Activation” as shown below. Click “OK” to proceed.
3. Every courier driver will receive a unique set of credentials to log into the application. Please contact the dispatcher or shipping manager to verify your courier driver login daily as it could change. To login, enter your login username and password in the form below and click on the “Login” button.
4. Once your login is successful, you are ready to review your scheduled stops for the day. The stops are displayed in the order to be completed.
5. Press Start Route as soon as you arrive at the branch and check-in with shipping office. This will function as the driver “clock-in” for the day. This will also generate a notification to every customer on the route notifying them of their delivery window that day.
6. Start Route in Curri App once route is started in DispatchTrack app.
Curri App Driver Login
Once the Curri driver has started the route in the DispatchTrack Mobile App they should record their driver number for the day and start the route in the Curri app.
Curri will text the driver their “Curri Code”.
Driver enters their “Curri Code” from the text in the Curri app.
Curri app will prompt for the 8-digit Ferguson driver number.
Driver enters Ferguson driver number and presses “Start Route”.
5. Driver will follow DispatchTrack prompts to make the deliveries for the day.
6.Driver will return to Curri App once they have ended the route in the DispatchTrack app.
Starting and Finishing a Job
Next, we will review the workflow to start and finish a job within the mobile app.
Once you click on a particular stop, you can review details about the job on the screen.
2. When you are ready to start driving, click the “Going to Job” button. This will update the stop to In Transit and send the customer the text notification stating you are on your way with an estimated time of arrival.
3. Next, you can click on the arrow next to address to get turn by turn directions to the stop. Once you arrive at the customer’s location and you are ready to start the job, you can click on “Start.”
4. Photos are required prior to finishing stop. Press the “Pictures” icon on the top navigation bar. Then the select the “+” icon in the bottom right, then “Add Picture”. Take photo and save. Repeat this process until all photos needed are captured.
5. Clicking on the “Notes” tab on the top navigation allows you to enter any comments or notes associated with the stop. It will also display any existing notes from the dispatcher associated with that stop. To add a new note, click on the “+” icon.
6. Enter your notes in the field below and click on “Save.” Once the note is saved, the dispatcher will be able to view the note.
7. Click on the “Signature” tab on the top navigation after the job is finished and the customer is ready to sign. If all line items were delivered as planned, you can click on the “Select All Items” to check all the line items and click on “Confirm and Sign” as shown below.
Important Note: the app allows you to perform these functions even without cell service. Additionally, if the customer facility does NOT allow the mobile device to be brought onto the premises, you can begin the POD capture process, and capture the image before leaving your device. Capture customer signature on the delivery document and take a photo of the executed document, when you return to your mobile device, as evidence of signature capture.
8. At this point, hand over your mobile device to the customer, so that they can review the information. The mobile app will ask for confirmation that all items have been delivered as shown below. Customer should review and then Click on “I Agree” to proceed.
9. The next screen allows the customer to record their signature. There is also an option provided to “Send Receipt” so they can receive an emailed receipt for the delivery. The email will auto-populate if an email was entered on the order. You can also manually enter the customer email address in the field as shown below. Check the “Send” button if required and click “Done.”
Important Note: You can manually enter the name of the customer signing for delivery in the box on the bottom left if the signature is illegible.
10. When the job is complete, you can click on the “Finished” button in the main tab “Details.”
11. The app will ask for a final confirmation that the job is finished. Click on “OK” to finish this job.
12. The job will be marked finished, and the app will inform you of the next available job to be started. Press “Start Now” to set the next stop to In Transit and notify the next customer you are on your way.
Important Note: If you choose the “Start Later” option, you must open the next stop from the Orders tab and click “Going to Job” to update the next stop to In Transit and send the customer the text notification stating you are on your way.
13. Repeat the process for all remaining stops on your route. Stops should be completed in the order they are routed.
Return Home and End Route
Once all the stops for the day are complete, you can follow the steps below to return home and end your route.
Driver has two scenarios to end the route.
Driver will “End Route” after returning to Ferguson warehouse.
Driver will “End Route” after completing the final stop if the following conditions are met:
There is not any product to return to Ferguson.
The truck will not be kept at Ferguson for the next day’s route.
If you are returning to the warehouse, click on the “Return Home” button to get directions back to the warehouse.
Important Note: If you are not returning to the Ferguson warehouse skip to step 2 and “End Route” as soon as you complete your final stop.
2. Click on the “End Route” button below once you return to warehouse to indicate that you have completed all stops for the day.
3. The app will ask for a confirmation, click “OK” to end the route. Then click “Yes” to log out.
4. Return to the Curri app and click “Complete Route”.
Important Note: Driver should not “End Route” in DispatchTrack app or “Complete Route” in Curri app until all their daily runs are complete. (If routed for second runs.)
Exceptions - Unable to Start a Job
In case you are at a customer location and are unable to start a job, follow the below steps.
Click on the “Unable to Start” button found at the bottom of the main Details screen, see below.
2. Enter the reason in the text field below and click on “OK.”
3. When you are ready to restart the job, you can click on the “Restart” button on the bottom of the Details screen. The app will ask for a confirmation to restart and clicking on “OK” will restart the job.
