Curri Dedicated Driver Violation & Ban Policy
Curri Dedicated Driver Violation & Ban Policy
Updated over a week ago

This Driver Violation & Ban Policy applies to all drivers who are performing delivery services on a Curri Dedicated Service route. It does not directly apply to the motor carrier under which any driver is operating. The policy is intended to provide quality assurance for the individual drivers servicing dedicated routes, with the expectation that the driver’s employing or contracting motor carrier will (a) provide a replacement if/when necessary and (b) will have its carrier score impacted by any violations incurred by one of its drivers.

Overview of Violations

Drivers must adhere to standards and guidelines while on the Curri platform. Violations are categorized as either Minor or Major, depending on their severity. Each type of violation carries different consequences, ranging from warnings, loss of route opportunities in the future, to full bans from the platform.

Types of Violations and Consequences

  1. Driver No-Show: Failure to report to the warehouse or communicate with Curri or the customer.

    • Major Violation: Violation is given and immediate removal from the dedicated route is enforced if the driver fails to arrive or calls out on the first day of the route.

    • Violation is given for any driver no-show once the route has started. The driver will be removed from the route after the 2nd driver no-show violation.

    • Violations fall off after 14 days.

  2. Driver Late / Driver Call-Out: Arriving more than 15 minutes late or calling out on the same day (except the first day of a route).

    • Minor Violation: First warning and retraining provided.

    • A violation is issued after the second offense.

  3. Cargo Space/Equipment Issues: Arriving without a clear cargo space or the proper equipment (e.g., PPE, pallet jack, liftgate) or using an incorrect vehicle.

    • Minor Violation: One violation is issued even if the route runs.

    • For incorrect vehicles, there is a temporary ban until the vehicle type is changed and proof is provided.

  4. App Usage Violations: Not adding stops, photos, enabling tracking, or failing to submit hours and mileage.

    • Minor Violation: First warning and retraining.

    • A route ban for future routes is applied after the third offense.

  5. Falsifying Information: Providing false information about hours and mileage to claim higher payouts.

    • Major Violation: Full ban from the platform.

  6. Profanity, Threats, or Unprofessional Behavior: Any threats or unprofessional behavior towards Curri employees or customers.

    • Major Violation: Zero tolerance; full ban from the platform.

Ban Policy Process

  • 1st Violation: Does not affect the dedicated route. Communication will be sent with the reason for the violation.

  • 2nd Violation: A warning is issued, and potential retraining is assigned based on the nature of the violation.

  • 3rd Violation: Three violations within a 30-day period will result in a full ban from route opportunities. This is aimed at identifying drivers who are not adhering to platform standards.
