The insurance fee always scales with the number of deliveries in a payout — it's $0.65 per delivery, not a flat fee per payout.
FAQ
Why is there an insurance fee?
The $0.65 fee covers per-delivery insurance coverage and applies to every completed delivery, no matter which payout method you choose. If a payout bundles multiple deliveries (like a Weekly Payout), the fee is charged once per delivery — not once for the whole payout. No fee is charged if a delivery is cancelled. Do debit cards and bank accounts both work for Instant Pay?
Yes, both are eligible — but Stripe (our payment processor) determines eligibility for each individual card or account. If a method isn't eligible, the app will show it as ineligible and you'll need to choose a different one, or use it for free Weekly Payout instead.
