Deactivation Policy

This is Curri's driver and carrier deactivation policy

At Curri, we work to keep the Curri marketplace safe, reliable, and fair for drivers and customers alike. In some cases, that means removing a delivery service provider's access to the platform.

There are two ways access may be removed: Delivery Standards and Terms of Service violations, which includes safety and fraud. In both cases, the conduct leading to deactivation is directly connected to a failure on the part of the driver to adhere to Curri’s Community Guidelines.

Delivery Standards are measured through your weekly scorecard and have 4 main components: completion rate, delivery accuracy, on-time, and customer star rating. Continuing access to the platform is contingent on these metrics remaining consistent with community standards. Delivery Standards are representative of the values that the shippers on Curri’s platform prioritize and what the services they expect to receive. They form the basis of deactivation decisions because Curri is committed to maintaining a community that aligns with the values of its members, and facilitating the experience shippers expect on the platform.

Delivery Standards

Completion Rate

Background

Completion rate is the percentage of accepted deliveries you completed. Incomplete deliveries such as self-unassignments, scheduled delivery failures, and unfinished multi-stop jobs count against this number. Additionally, if Curri must remove you from a delivery due to inconsistent activities and communications on your part, such as not moving or heading the wrong way to pick up or drop off or your GPS is disabled and not communicating with Curri, this will also count against you. Ensure that you are completing and confirming all deliveries you claim. Please note that delivery opportunities you decide not to accept do not count against this metric (i.e. you are free to accept or decline any delivery opportunity at your own discretion).

How this affects you

As a courtesy, we will normally let you know if your account is at risk of deactivation due to a poor completion rate. However, in some instances, when driver conduct or failures are severe or pervasive, drivers may lose access without prior warning.

Delivery Accuracy

Background

Delivery accuracy is the percentage of your completed deliveries that had no accuracy-related issues. Accuracy-related issues arise when you do not follow delivery instructions provided by the shipper, using the wrong vehicle or accessories listed in your profile, or failing to deliver all items.

How this affects you

When you accept a delivery, you are agreeing to complete it accurately and according to the shipper’s instructions provided. Maintaining high delivery accuracy reflects directly on your reliability as a driver and is fundamental to meeting shipper expectations on the platform. As a courtesy, we will normally notify you if your accuracy rate is at risk of falling below the threshold to be eligible for deliveries. However, for drivers with severe accuracy issues, access to the platform may be removed without prior warning.

Pickup On-Time %

Background

Pickup on-time percentage measures how often you arrive at the shipper’s designated pickup location within the shipper’s expected time window. Pick up windows take into account vehicle type — light vehicles (car, SUV, truck, cargo van) are held to a tighter window, while heavy vehicles (box truck, flatbed, freight hotshot) have a wider window given longer load times. Early arrivals can be problematic, just like late arrivals. Arriving more than 30 minutes early on a scheduled delivery can count against your on-time pickup metric, as early arrivals can disrupt a customer's operation.

How this affects you

Consistent late (or early) arrivals to pickup locations delay or disrupt deliveries and affect shipper expectations related to service reliability, which is a core value for our community. As a courtesy, we will normally notify you if your pickup on-time rate is putting your account at risk. For drivers with pervasive and consistently low on-time performance, access to the platform may be removed without prior warnings.

Dropoff On-Time %

Background

Dropoff on-time percentage measures how often you arrive at the delivery destination within the expected window. Like pickup on-time, arrival windows are adjusted based on vehicle type — heavier vehicles have more time to account for longer transit and unload times. Same day deliveries are excluded from this metric as their delivery window expectations differ from rush and scheduled deliveries (i.e. the window is extremely large).

How this affects you

Late drop-offs directly impact the value the shipper expects to receive from the services ordered on Curri’s platform and performed by you. As a courtesy, we will normally notify you if your dropoff on-time rate is at risk of dropping below the threshold that will cause deactivation. For drivers with consistently and pervasively low performance, access to the platform may be removed without prior warning.

Customer Rating

Background

Your customer rating is your average star rating from customers who reviewed your deliveries. A minimum of 10 rated deliveries is required for this metric to apply to your account.

How this affects you

Customer ratings reflect how shippers and recipients experience their deliveries with you. A sustained low rating signals recurring service issues that affect trust in the platform. As a courtesy, we will notify you if your rating approaches the threshold. Drivers whose ratings fall and remain below the minimum threshold may lose access to the platform.

Terms of Service Deactivation

Safety

The safety of all shippers, drivers, Curri employees and the general public is of the highest importance. Creating an unsafe environment for anyone on or related to the platform or the services you are providing, including yourself or any member of the public in general, will result in immediate deactivation. Unsafe behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  1. Violence or threatening behavior. This includes physical assault, threats, intimidation, or verbal abuse directed at a customer, recipient, Curri employee, another driver, or any person encountered during a delivery. A single documented incident is grounds for immediate deactivation, with no advance warning.

  2. Delivering under the influence. Operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, prescription drugs, or any other substance that affects judgment or reaction time is prohibited. This applies from the moment you accept a delivery to the moment it is marked complete.

  3. Illegal activity. Using the Curri platform to facilitate or conceal any criminal activity — including theft, fraud, trafficking, or unauthorized transport of controlled substances — will result in immediate deactivation and may be reported to law enforcement.

  4. Unauthorized disclosure of personal information. Customer, recipient, and shipper information accessed through the platform is confidential. Sharing names, addresses, phone numbers, or delivery details with any third party — for any reason — without explicit authorization is a violation of Curri's privacy obligations and grounds for deactivation.

  5. Damaging, stealing, or tampering with cargo. Intentionally damaging, stealing, opening, or altering a customer's cargo is prohibited. This includes partial theft (removing items from a delivery), repackaging, or any action that compromises the integrity of the shipment.

  6. Unsafe driving and other delivery activities. Engaging in any reckless or unsafe driving, loading, unloading or load securement practices while performing deliveries can result in immediate deactivation.

Fraud

Curri's platform depends on accurate information and honest execution. Drivers who misrepresent themselves, game the system, or act in bad faith undermine every stakeholder: shippers, recipients, and other drivers. The following are grounds for deactivation:

  1. Providing false or inaccurate information. This includes misrepresenting your identity during sign-up, submitting false information to support or compliance teams, creating multiple accounts for a single individual, sharing or reusing account credentials, and inaccurately reporting the vehicle type used on a delivery. Vehicle type accuracy matters because customers book and price based on it. Misrepresenting it causes direct harm.

  2. Disrupting platform operations. Submitting fraudulent or bad-faith help requests, gaming dispatch systems, or taking any action intended to manipulate how deliveries are assigned or prioritized is prohibited.

  3. Falsely completing a delivery. Marking a delivery complete when it hasn't been delivered, uploading a fabricated or misleading photo as proof of delivery, or confirming receipt without actually handing off the shipment is fraud. This directly harms customers.

  4. Intentionally causing economic harm. Deliberately failing to meet delivery standards abandoning a route, refusing to complete a delivery without cause, or acting in a way designed to force a cancellation — in order to harm the customer, recipient, or Curri financially is prohibited.
